Police briefs 10/15/03

A 28-year-old university employee interfered with police officers early Friday as they arrested his wife for drunken driving, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.During the traffic stop near the corner of Bogue Street and Wilson Road, the woman apparently called her husband on her cell phone. The man confronted officers as they had his wife's car towed away.Officers said the man was confrontational and appeared to be intoxicated as he shoved one of the officers. The man apparently tried to enter the driver's seat of the car to prevent it from being taken away.He was cited for drunken and disorderly conduct and failing to obey police orders.· Two pints of H
