A 19-year-old female student told police her ATM card was stolen and used in the lobby of Holmes Hall on Wednesday, MSU police Sgt. Keith McDaniel said.Police have identified a suspect who is believed to have stolen the card and withdrawn $100.The incident is under investigation.• A 5-year-old East Lansing boy was stabbed in the back by his 8-year-old brother late Sunday, police said.Police and paramedics responded to the emergency call in the Deerpath Apartments at about 9:20 p.m. on Sunday. The boy was transported to Sparrow hospital by paramedics, East Lansing police Sgt. Carl Nowak said. The knife had pierced the boy's chest and lungs and was close to the aorta, doctors told police. Tests were being conducted to determine if it were possible to remove the knife without further damage, or if surgery would be necessary.Doctors said that they are treating the injury very seriously."Exactly why the stabbing happened, we are not sure," Nowak said.Police are investigating the incident.
