At the movies

"Cabin Fever"

There's plenty of fun, gore and sex in this salute to horror films of Hollywood's history. Just don't look for very much in the way of plot.

Rated R ***

"Cold Creek Manor"

Even if Sharon Stone uncrossed her middle-aged legs in this flick, I still wouldn't have liked it. A pointless thriller without any danger, don't count on any real surprises here.

Rated R ***

"Lost in Translation"

A great film. See this twice if you can. Bill Murray proves he's more than just another former "Saturday Night Live" cast member.

Rated R *****

"Matchstick Men"

Nicolas Cage hits it big with this comedy about a con artist who gets back in touch with his 14-year-old daughter.

Rated PG-13 ****

"Once Upon a Time in Mexico"

Antonio Banderas returns as El Mariachi in this action-packed sequel to "El Mariachi" and "Desperado."

Banderas isn't the main hero, but the action is still there.

Rated R ****

"Open Range"

A predictable but surprise hit for Kevin Costner. Robert Duvall shows what a good character actor can do for a mediocre western.

Rated R ***

"The Order"

A surprise twist at the end doesn't save this slow religious thriller. Save your money and wait for this one to come out on video.

Rated R ***

"The Rundown"

Packed with action but has a script a 12-year-old boy probably wrote. This one is strictly for wrestling fans.

Rated PG-13 ***
