Police briefs 09/23/03

Four people told MSU police that the front windshield of their cars were shattered while parked in campus lots this weekend, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.In one case, a 20-year-old male student told police the window of his 1992 Oldsmobile Achieva was shattered by an unknown object Sunday afternoon. The car was parked in Lot 83.In Lot 56, a 20-year-old male student said the window of his 1999 Chevy TrailBlazer was shattered Sunday morning.A 24-year-old female student told police the window of her 2000 Dodge Caravan was shattered late Saturday or early Sunday in Lot 50.Details were not available about a fourth case, in which the window of a vehicle was shattered in Lot 38.The windows were each valued at $150. The incidents are under investigation by the detective bureau of the MSU Department of Police and Public Safety.Police have no suspects.Steve Eder
