Democratic presidential candidate Howard Dean is planning to visit MSU in October to gain momentum in Michigan and with young voters.
The former Vermont governor is scheduled to be in the Lansing area Oct. 6 from 10-12 p.m. and will speak on the MSU campus, said Daren Berringer, state coordinator of Dean for America.
