An 18-year-old student told police she received about 20 disturbing phone calls to her cell phone on Monday night, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.The Butterfield Hall resident told police the calls were from a person who didn't say anything, but she heard music or the news in the background. Police have a suspect and are continuing to investigate. · An 19-year-old nonstudent told police his Nextel cell phone was stolen early Tuesday morning in Armstrong Hall, McGlothian-Taylor said.The nonstudent said he was walking down a hallway at about 1 a.m. when he bumped into a wall, apparently causing his cell phone to detach from his belt. He later noticed his $150 phone was missing.Police have no suspects.· An 18-year-old student told police her Sanyo cell phone was stolen from a desk in her West Akers Hall dorm room early Sunday, McGlothian Taylor said.The $200 flip-style phone was taken at about midnight when her dorm room door was left open, even though there were several visitors.
