Daniel Grimm states in his letter "Fraternity story unfair, not helpful", (SN 7/16) that "the water bill and other utilities" of the Theta Delta Chi house are the responsibility of "the national organization."

That statement is incorrect. The property is owned by The Gamma Triton House Corporation, which is the alumni of the Gamma Triton (MSU chapter) of Theta Delta Chi. The International Fraternity has no property rights in it and holds no mortgage on it.

His statement that "the national leadership asked members to leave for the summer" is also incorrect. Only the local owners, named above, could or would do that.
