A 62-year-old male university employee reported the theft of more than $24,000 in electronic equipment from the Communication Arts and Sciences Building on Monday morning, McGlothian-Taylor said.Among the items stolen were two Dell laptops valued at $4,600, a Sony video camera valued at $6,315, a Sony video camera valued at $2,400 and a Sony TV monitor valued at $1,400, McGlothian-Taylor said. The employee said the room had three entrances he believed were locked. · A 24-year-old male was caught trying to steal money from a donation tank at Taco Bell in the International Center on Monday night, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.Officers were tipped off to the robbery by a alarm system, McGlothian-Taylor said. The amount the man attempted to steal was $58.82 before he was arrested.· A 25-year-old male university employee reported his office computer in the Natural Science Building had been used by someone to view pornographic material Monday night, McGlothian-Taylor said.The employee said he had left the door to his office unlocked at the time, McGlothian-Taylor said.· A 21-year-old female university employee reported her wallet stolen from her office in the Natural Resources Building on Monday morning, McGlothian-Taylor said.The wallet is valued at $5 and contained $20, a driver's license and credit cards, McGlothian-Taylor said. The employee said she had left the wallet unattended in her purse on a chair next to her desk and returned to find it gone.Joseph Montes
