Police briefs 04/23/03

Two female students reported books and a calculator stolen from their North Wonders Hall room, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. The items were stolen Friday from the room, which was closed but unlocked. The items were valued at $417 and police have no suspects.• A 19-year-old male with no university affiliation reported a cell phone stolen from IM Sports-West, McGlothian-Taylor said.The phone, valued at $500, was stolen Monday from the bleachers while the man was playing basketball. Police have no suspects.
