Police briefs 04/02/03

A 20-year-old male student reported $3,000 worth of CDs stolen from his 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier on Sunday outside Shaw Lane, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. The student wasn't sure if he locked his doors and police have no suspects.• An 18-year-old female student reported CDs and a suitcase stolen sometime between Sunday and Monday from a 1992 Ford Taurus parked at the commuter lot, McGlothian-Taylor said. The student said she usually locks the car's doors but said her hands were full and thinks she might have left a door unlocked. The loss is valued at $275 and police have no suspects.• A 22-year-old male student reported a shattered windshield in a 1997 Chevrolet Lumina on Monday in Lot 89, the commuter lot, McGlothian-Taylor said. The damage is estimated at $350 and police have two suspects. The case isn't related to Sunday's riot.
