Officials plan to suspend 6th student for alleged rioting

April 23, 2003

Officials are pushing for the suspension of a sixth MSU student for alleged involvement in the March 28-30 disturbances, said Lee June, vice president for student affairs and services.

The case has been entered into MSU's student judicial process for consideration.

June said at least one of those suspensions has been lifted, but could not comment on the details of the cases.

A total of 23 students are in the judicial process.

When suspended, students cannot attend class and are only allowed to step on campus for meetings with officials.
