The ring has returned.

Angelo DiMeo, the Lansing jeweler who tried to auction two bowl game rings belonging to MSU Trustee Joel Ferguson, has placed one of them back up for sale on the Internet auction site eBay.

DiMeo is now asking $1,999 for a 1990 gold John Hancock Bowl ring formerly owned by Ferguson. The 1993 Liberty Bowl ring has not been placed back on the site.

The price of each ring was originally set at $1,400 but they failed to gain bids during the duration of the auction.

DiMeo said he raised the price because of the heavy demand from people wanting to see the rings in his store.
