Our thoughts: When it comes to cheeseburgers, you can't get much better than the original double-decker. For those of you who think in fast-food terms, the Big Boy is predecessor to the McDonald's Big Mac. The only difference: no pickles.

This sandwich had a bit too much lettuce, but aside from that it was plenty filling. The hot chocolate was too hot, but after adding some ice it was much better. The free fries on our Monday visit complemented the meal perfectly. The only real complaint is the sandwich was pretty messy - be sure to get plenty of napkins when you order this classic.
