Country killer Clint Black releases a compilation of his best material with "Super Hits" on RCA today. Although the singer hasn't seen a huge payoff with previous releases "The Hard Way" and "No Time To Kill," Black's release of "Super Hits" is a nice introduction for music fans not familiar with the singer.
It's an 80s flashback with a re-release of the Eurythmics debut album "In the Garden" on RCA Records. Known for the song "Sweet Dreams," the group's first album documents its new-wave sound before the rise to fame.
Genesis releases its 24th album "Straight from the Umbilical" on Come Clean Records. The album will be the band's first in six years.
While Come Clean Records lingers in the old it also scuffles with the new. Lil-D, who releases two albums - "I'm the Answer to the Millennium" and "Mother's Luv" - has been making a name for himself in the music industry since 2000.
Look for Unwritten Law to rock the pop charts with their release of "Music In High Places." The album, in the style of an "Unplugged" parody, has the boys playing an acoustic set out in the wilderness for good ol' MTV.
And in usual Tuesday release fashion, various artists come together to fill collectable party mix pleasers. Look out for "Essential Old School Hip Hop, Vol. 1" and "Pure Punk Rock" to not only dot the record store's best sellers list but to also show up for appearance on a friendly infomercial.
Records by Roy Orbison, The (International) Noise Conspiracy, The Out Crowd and The Sea and Cake also debut today.
