MSU Board of Trustees

Don Nugent has the financial background MSU’s board needs as it faces one of school’s toughest budget cycles. He also is the only trustee with an agricultural background.

Colleen McNamara is the student voice of the MSU Board of Trustees, and Spartans cannot afford to lose that advocate. Voters should allow the two incumbents to return.

No on Proposal 1

This proposal would amend Michigan election law to prohibit “straight party” voting options from state ballots. Voters should have choices.

Yes on Proposal 2

This proposal would help maintain the environment by allowing the state to borrow no more than $1 billion for water works treatment projects.

Yes on Proposal 3

This constitutional amendment would cost taxpayers millions by granting state employees the right to collective

bargaining with binding arbitration.

No on Proposal 4

This constitutional amendment would redistribute 90 percent of the state’s $8.5-billion tobacco settlement and prove to be unhealthy state policy.
