I am appalled at the negative tone the opponents to Proposal 4 have been taking.

Proposal 4 is backed by groups like the American Cancer Society, the American Lung Association and the American Heart Association. These are trusted organizations with missions dedicated to saving lives - to dismiss them as “greedy special interests” is insulting.

The opponents to Proposal 4 will try to mislead the public in any way they can with their negative rhetoric, but Proposal 4 will save lives - bottom line.

On Tuesday, I will be joining trusted organizations in the fight against big tobacco by voting “Yes” on Proposal 4. It’s only right.
