Thank you, The State News, for once again showing your typically biased reporting. The article Gore rallies U voters (SN 10/29) spends one whole sentence mentioning the five protesters inside.
Your reporters must have missed the nearly 25 additional protesters right outside the entrance - 30 total people showed up, most of them skipping class to protest and The State News was not even interested in the opinion of a single one of them.
A simple mistake or an oversight? Compare this with the coverage you gave the pro-abortion protesters at the pro-life rally a few weeks ago.
The Page One story Pro-life event crashed by pro-choice protesters (SN 10/7) and accompanying photograph was dedicated to the protesters despite the fact that the actual attendees of the event far outnumbered the protesters.
Once again The State News left-wing political bias shines through.
Luckily, there was plenty of fair coverage from all the real media outlets, such as the television stations.
It is a sad fact that students have to turn to outside news sources to get accurate information on campus events over our so-called student paper.
