A 21-year-old male student reported his wallet stolen from his Bryan Hall room Sunday, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.The student went to bed at about 1:30 a.m., turned off the lights and left the door unlocked, McGlothian-Taylor said.When he woke about at 8 a.m. the light was turned on, the door was open and his wallet was missing, McGlothian-Taylor said.The pants his wallet was taken out of were found in the hallway, McGlothian-Taylor said.The wallet and its contents are valued at $95. An 18-year-old male student reported his Hewlett-Packard computer stolen from the fifth floor East Akers Hall study lounge Sunday, McGlothian-Taylor said.At 1 a.m. Friday the student took a study break from the lounge to visit with his friends, McGlothian-Taylor said. He left the door propped open because he didnt have a key to the room, McGlothian-Taylor said. When he came back to the lounge at 1:30 p.m. the computer was gone, McGlothian-Taylor said.The computer is valued at $1,100. A 20-year-old female student reported her purse stolen from her 1990 Lincoln Town Car on Sunday, McGlothian-Taylor said.Between 6:30-10:35 p.m. the rear passenger window was broken while it was parked in Lot 6 near the MSU Museum, McGlothian-Taylor said. The purse was taken from the rear foot area of the car, McGlothian-Taylor said. Damage is valued at $150 and the purse is valued at $35. A 19-year-old female student reported her Pioneer stereo stolen from her 1996 Dodge on Sunday, McGlothian-Taylor said.Between 11 p.m. Saturday and 7:30 p.m. Sunday the drivers side rear window was broken while the car was parked in Lot 83 near Service Road and Harrison Avenue, McGlothian-Taylor said.Damage is valued at $100, and the stereo is valued at $250.
