A 32-year-old Lansing man was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon near the MSU Indoor Tennis Facility on Saturday, MSU police Lt. John McCandless said.At about 9:41 p.m. the man was asked to get out of the back seat of a car after the 22-year-old Lansing male driver of the car was pulled over on a traffic stop, McCandless said.The 32-year-old man had a warrant out for his arrest because he has not been paying child support, McCandless said.Upon patting down the man, a Tek-9 handgun loaded with 22 rounds was found in his pants, McCandless said. The man was arraigned Sunday and bond was set at $20,000, McCandless said.The 22-year-old driver and a 23-year-old male front seat passenger were released at the scene, McCandless said.• A 20-year-old female student reported several items stolen from her 1992 Jeep on Saturday, McCandless said.Between midnight and 3:55 p.m. an unknown person punched the driver’s side door lock to break into the car, McCandless said.A Sony car stereo, a Rampage amplifier, two Optimus speakers and 72 CDs were taken, McCandless said.The items are valued at $1,630. Damage is $1,000.• A 19-year-old female student reported her Ford Focus damaged in Lot 83 near Harrison and Service roads Saturday, McCandless said.Between 10:30 p.m. Friday and 10:30 a.m. Saturday the side rearview mirror was broken off her car, McCandless said.Damage is valued at $200.• A 19-year-old female student reported a student parking pass stolen from her 1998 Pontiac parked in Lot 91 near Service and Harrison roads Friday, McCandless said.An unknown person broke into her locked car, McCandless said.The parking pass replacement fee is valued at $2.
