The Office of Minority Student Services in the MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine is presenting an informational seminar titled “So You Wanna be a D.O.ctor: Pre-medical Student Informational Seminar” on Nov. 9.

The seminar, which will be from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in East Fee Hall, was the idea of Tanisha Toaston, a third-year osteopathic medicine student. The seminar is designed to assist minority and disadvantaged students interested in the field of osteopathic medicine.

The seminar will have discussions with the dean and faculty of the college, a medical student panel and other administrators. There will also be career planning information and advice on how to apply to medical school.
