A 42-year-old male employee reported his faculty parking pass stolen from his car in Lot 27 near the Veterinary Medical Center on Friday, MSU police Inspector Mary Johnson said.The pass was taken between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Wednesday, Johnson said. There were no signs of forced entry into the mans 1988 Oldsmobile Ciera.The vehicle might not have been locked, Johnson said. The parking pass replacement fee is $2.50. A 20-year-old male student reported his commuter parking pass stolen from a 1991 Pontiac Grand Prix parked in Lot 89, the commuter lot, Friday, Johnson said.The parking pass was taken from the car between noon and 4:56 p.m. Tuesday while the drivers side window was open, Johnson said.The parking pass is valued at $60. A 21-year-old male student reported his student parking pass stolen from Lot 65 at Brody Complex on Friday, Johnson said.The parking pass was taken from a locked 1991 Chevrolet Beretta between 6 a.m. Tuesday and 6 p.m. Wednesday, Johnson said. The parking pass is valued at $120. Police arrested a 17-year-old Detroit man and a 19-year-old Southfield man for stealing items from several Rather Hall rooms Saturday, Johnson said.Police recovered several laptop computers, video games and cell phones from the men, who are suspected of beginning to take items Friday night, Johnson said.The value of the stolen property is not yet known, Johnson said. An investigation is ongoing and the case has been forwarded to the Ingham County prosecutor.
