Police briefs

A female employee, 47, reported her 1997 Chrysler Eagle Vision damaged in Lot 75 on Kalamazoo Street near Harrison Avenue on Monday, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.

Between 11:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday, a door’s side front corner panel was dented by an unknown object, McGlothian-Taylor said.

The damage is about $800.

• A female student, 19, reported her Compaq Presario laptop computer damaged Monday, McGlothian-Taylor said.

At 6:30 a.m. Monday the student hooked up her computer and left it secured by a cable lock on her bed in East Akers Hall, McGlothian-Taylor said.

When the student returned from class at 2 p.m., four computer keys were smashed and there was a dent in the computer near the cable lock, McGlothian-Taylor said.

The damaged computer is valued at $1,000.

• A male employee, 48, reported a Toshiba television stolen from Wonders Hall Kiva on Monday, McGlothian-Taylor said.

Between midnight Saturday and 7 p.m. Sunday the television was taken from the locked room, McGlothian-Taylor said.

Police are investigating the theft, McGlothian-Taylor said.

The television is valued at $200.
