Nuts All-Star lineup

This marks the second time Lansing has played host to the event.There will be a home run derby prior to the game.

Side show acts will include the Famous Chicken, Crazy Geaorge, Myron Noodleman, Reggy the Mascot and the Frisbee Dogs.

The game will be followed by Lansing Automaker’s Federal Credit Union fireworks show.

Johnson represents Lansing as the only starter on the Eastern All-Stars’ squad. He is second on the team in RBIs, walks and runs scored, 30, 28 and 31, respectively.

Bouras already had a solid first-half campaign, however he seemed to get stronger as the break neared. He hit .288 with 37 RBIs and eight home runs - all team highs. His 12-game hitting streak is a season-best for the Lugnuts.

Pignatiello boast a 6-4 record and a 3.24 ERA. He leads the team with 80.2 innings pitched and 70 strikeouts. Opponents are batting .240 against the southpaw. Pignatiello has the second highest single game strikeout total with nine.

Brown (3-1), the Lugnuts’ closer, has a team-high nine saves on the season along with a stingy 1.01 ERA. In 26.2 innings, he has posted 22 strikeouts and held batters to a .165 batting average.

Cameron was a late addition to the team due to injury. In 33 games, he has batted .272 with five home runs and 21 RBIs. The home runs are third-best on the team and his 14 doubles tie him for second. His standout performance of the season came May 28 against the Beloit Snappers. He collected four hits - three doubles and a homer - and a Lugnut season-high six RBIs.

All stats are through 68 games.

The Lugnuts will return to action at 7 p.m. Thursday when they hit the road to take on the Michigan Battle Cats at the C.O. Brown Stadium in Battle Creek as part of a four-game series.
Their next home game will be played at 7:05 p.m. Saturday at Oldsmobile Park.
