A Brighton man reported a cell phone and Nintendo Game Boy stolen from the Food Safety and Toxicology Building on Friday, MSU police Lt. Penny Fischer said. The man left the items, valued at $500, in an unlocked, unattended office. Police have no suspects. A construction employee reported a surveying instrument stolen from Ralph Young Field, between Thursday afternoon and Friday morning, Fischer said. The instrument, valued at $4,000, was in a locked trailer on the construction site. The door was pried open. Police have no suspects. A male student reported his 2002 BMW damaged at Forest Akers East Golf Course on Saturday, Fischer said. A golf ball hit a taillight, causing $100 in damage. A female student reported four hubcaps stolen from her vehicle while parked in Lot 89, the commuter lot, on Saturday, Fischer said. The student parked her Chevrolet in the lot Thursday and when she returned Friday the hubcaps, valued at $100, were gone. Police have no suspects. A male student reported damage to and items stolen from his 1995 Pontiac, Fischer said. The vehicle was parked in Lot 89, the commuter lot, and the driver side window was broken, causing $200 in damage. A stereo, valued at $200, also was stolen. Police have no suspects. A St. Clair Shores woman reported damage to her 2002 Chevrolet Trail Blazer. The vehicle was parked in the Holden Hall service area. When the female returned to her car, there was a scratch along its entire left side, causing $500 in damage. Police have no suspects. An MSU air conditioner was pushed through a window into Agriculture Hall between Friday afternoon and Sunday morning, Fischer said. Nobody entered the building, but there was nearly $500 in damage.
