MSU police responded to a fire alarm that went off at about 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Engineering Building, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. The building was evacuated until about 2 p.m. Police said the alarm was caused by exhaust from a truck parked outside the building. The East Lansing Fire Department dispatched trucks to aid MSU police. A female student reported damage to her 1993 Saturn on Sunday, McGlothian-Taylor said. The vehicle was parked in Lot 32, on Fee and Wilson roads. The drivers side mirror had been broken off, causing $100 in damage. Police have no suspects.
