Police briefs 04/08/02

A male student reported $1,700 in electronics stolen from his East Akers Hall room Saturday, MSU police Sgt. Jennifer Brown said. A laptop and personal data assistant were taken from the unlocked room. Police have no suspects.• A male student reported amplifiers and speakers stolen from his vehicle in the Kellogg Center parking ramp Friday, Brown said. The window was cut from the 2000 Jeep Wrangler, causing $100 in damage. Losses are valued at $550. Police have no suspects.• A female student reported her cell phone stolen Thursday evening, Brown said. The student left the phone, valued at $95, in a restroom in Eppley Center. Police have no suspects.• A female student reported her textbook stolen from the Main Library on Friday, Brown said. The student left the book, valued at more than $40, unattended. Police have no suspects.• A female student reported damage to the window in her West Wilson Hall room, Brown said. The window was smashed by an unknown object causing $100 in damage. Police have no suspects.
