Meridian Township police responded to an armed robbery at the Pump-N-Shop, 743 W. Grand River Ave. in Okemos, at 6:05 a.m. Sunday, Meridian Township police Sgt. Al Spencer said. A man entered the store shortly after it opened, displayed a gun and demanded money. The man left with an undisclosed amount of money. The incident is under investigation and police have no suspects. A male student reported damage to personal items and his vehicle Monday, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. The student reported damage to a digital camera, a floor fan and three punctured tires on his 1988 Lincoln. Damage is estimated at $975. A cell phone battery charger, worth $50 was stolen. Police have a suspect. A female employee reported two rugs stolen from the Physics-Astronomy building, McGlothian-Taylor said. The rugs are valued at $600. Police have no suspects.
