The women’s basketball team will prepare for Thursday’s Big Ten Tournament shorthanded.

Spartan head coach Joanne P. McCallie announced Monday freshman forward Joy Johnson withdrew from MSU for personal reasons.

In 26 games, Johnson averaged 3.7 points and 3.6 rebounds per game for MSU (16-11 overall, 6-10 Big Ten).
