I totally disagree with your assessment of football head coach Bobby Williams (Not worth it, SN 1/7). I believe Williams has done a wonderful job this year. I dont think that many people would stay encouraged to keep finding ways to win and keep the players encouraged. No, the season wasnt perfect or coached by perfect people, but this coaching staff has a winning attitude that it shared with players and fans.
How would you face challenges? Suppose you had to publish a newspaper with computers that lock up and force you to go back to working on manual typewriters, then face criticism saying the paper isnt as good as what it should be.
I was very proud of the teams performance in the Silicon Valley Football Classic. The game was one of the most exciting bowl games.
And it is time to drop the discussion with the young man who faced some criminal charges. We have all made mistakes.
The MSU football team is on a crescendo. Good things are going to happen next season.
