Police briefs 10/30/01

A glass door at the Chemistry Building was broken Sunday, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. The glass in the west entrance door appeared to be kicked in, but there were no witnesses. Damages are estimated to be $800. There are no suspects.• A female student was assaulted Sunday, McGlothian-Taylor said. The Hubbard Hall resident was trying to obtain ID from two intoxicated males about 2:30 a.m. Sunday, when one of the males grabbed her arm in a threatening manner. Police believe the males were visitors to the hall. Police are investigating.Jamie Gumbrecht
