In a quick reversal of Wednesdays decision, MSU announced today it will not play football Saturday.
MSUs home game against Missouri is canceled due to travel complications following Tuesdays terrorist attacks in Washington and New York, Sports Information officials said today.
Big Ten Conference offices have not issued an official statement as of 4 p.m. Thursday, said associate commissioner Sue Lister in an e-mail.
The Associated Press has reported all Big Ten games have been called off.
Sources from the MSU Marching Band, Athletics Department and East Lansing Police confirmed the Spartans cancellation.
No make-up plans are known at this time. The Spartans next play Sept. 21 at Notre Dame.
