Police briefs 08/13/01

A swimsuit was stolen from IM Sports-Circle, MSU police Lt. Kelly Beck said.Between 4 p.m. Tuesday and 2 p.m. Friday, the locker of a 20-year-old female student was broken into. The only thing taken was a swimsuit and there are no signs of forced entry. There are no suspects.

  • An 18-year-old nonstudent employee had several items stolen between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 10:30 a.m. Friday.The victim left his portable CD player and two cases containing 30 CDs on the front desk of Abbot Hall. When he returned, the items were missing. The items are valued at $450. Police have no suspects.
  • Between 9:30 p.m. Friday and 3:20 p.m. Saturday, two rooms were broken into in Olds Hall, Beck said.The intruders broke the windows of a door and also broke into some desks, Beck said. So far nothing has been found missing, although authorities are still investigating. Police have no suspects.
