Police briefs 07/26/01

A visitor for a summer program had a laptop, PalmPilot and portable CD player stolen between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. Tuesday from the Landon Hall first-floor lounge.The 20-year-old male left his belongings overnight, MSU police Detective Tony Willis said. When he returned the next morning, they were gone. The items are valued at $1,350 and police have no suspects.

  • A laptop computer and cell phone were taken between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. Tuesday from Campbell Hall’s first-floor lounge, Willis said. An 18-year-old visitor from Shelby Township left her belongings there overnight. When she returned both were gone. The items are valued at $1,500 and there are no suspects.SHAUN BYRON
