I must write in agreement with the writer who criticized the university for not hiring MSU graduates (“Employment policy upsets graduate,” SN 7/9). I agree it is kind of sad that MSU does not hire its graduates. I believe very strongly that MSU should hire its graduates even if it is just a mediocre job. It is really only fair.

We alumni have truly put in a lot of our or our parents hard-earned money to get an education here at MSU already. For me, it has been the equivalent of several expensive cars.

This not to say that in the goodness of my heart I would not give money to MSU. After all, it is the university’s logo that I wear just about every day possible and I am a big fan of all Spartan sports. I just feel it would be nice for our university to hire its graduates.
