Police briefs 03/19/01

An 18-year-old female student reported her sunroof damaged after she parked her car in Lot 89, the commuter lot, at Mount Hope Road and Farm Lane.The damage occurred between 11:30 a.m. Wednesday and 11:45 a.m. Friday, MSU police Lt. Kelly Beck said.Damage is estimated at $200. Police have no suspects.

  • A Kedzie Hall employee reported $25 cash stolen from a break room.The cash, kept in the open break room, was taken between 5 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday, Beck said.Police have no suspects.
  • A 44-year-old man reported an envelope of cash stolen from a bag he left unattended in the Kellogg Center.The man had left the bag at the foot of a chair while he went to use the restroom between 1 p.m. and 1:15 p.m. Friday, Beck said. When he returned he found the envelope, which contained an undisclosed amount of cash and a key, missing.Police have no suspects.
  • A 23-year-old male worker reported $20 taken from his unlocked locker in the Natural Resources Building.The cash was taken between 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Friday, Beck said.Police have no suspects.
  • A framed photograph was reported stolen from a sixth floor elevator lobby in the Kellogg Center.The photograph was taken between 1:30 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. Sunday, Beck said.Police have no suspects.
