I have a suggestion that will improve The State News dramatically. How about replacing all the lame student-produced comics with mainstream comics like Garfield, Dilbert, Ziggy or Beetle Bailey?

Ever since my freshman year, in 1997, I have seen the longtime favorites disappear only to be replaced by student-produced garbage.

Outwardly, it may appear that you are trying to support the local cartoonists at MSU. However, I suspect you are all just too cheap to pay good money for good comics.

So, please, either buy the comics we grew up with or just cut out the comics page altogether and run a full-page ad for a bar instead.
