Police briefs 02/09/01

A 20-year-old female student and 30-year-old male student reported their vehicles broken into while parked in Ramp 2 near the Computer Center.The car stereos were stolen from both vehicles between 7 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, MSU police Detective Tony Willis said. There were no signs of forced entry. The stolen items are estimated at $550 and police have no suspects.

  • A 19-year-old female student reported her bike stolen from the racks near Yakeley Hall.The bike, valued at $200, was taken between Jan. 19 and Wednesday, Willis said. It had been locked with a U-lock through the front tire. The tire and lock were left behind. Police have no suspects.
