Spartan athletes cant make games

I am a member of the student-athlete population at MSU. I am writing regarding season tickets for men’s basketball games.

Season basketball tickets are open to the student population on a priority basis. The problem is, athletes have many conflicts with the games and do not feel it is worth the money to purchase season tickets when they will not be able to attend all of the games.

All coaches and student-athlete support services talk about is how athletes should support other athletes, but they are contradicting themselves. This is occurring because they want athletes to support each other by having us pay $115 for season tickets, when we can only attend some of the games.

I would love to go to the games that I can go to, but I have no way of getting individual tickets. I think the ticket office should set aside a block of tickets to athletes for each game that can be purchased. These tickets can be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis.
