Cross county to compete at National Championship

The MSU women’s cross country team will be running in its 11th straight NCAA Cross Country Championships Monday in Terre Haute, Ind.

The Spartans qualified for the championships after placing second with 77 points at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships on Nov. 12.

Sophomores Sara Kroll and Julia Otwell were able to post top-ten finishes at regionals with times of 20:37.3 and 20:44.4, respectively.

The championship race will be hosted by Indiana State and is scheduled to begin at 12:58 p.m.
