An 18-year-old female student told MSU police she was sexually assaulted between 10:30-11:40 p.m. Saturday in a men’s restroom at Armstrong Hall.
As she was walking through the A-wing of Armstrong Hall, she passed a group of men who asked her if she lived there, the student told police.
She said one of the suspects grabbed her as they were walking together.
She told police her cell phone broke after the suspect knocked it out of her hand.
The suspect then grabbed her hand, led her to a bathroom stall and sexually assaulted her, according to a crime alert by the MSU police.
MSU police have identified a suspect described as an 18-year-old black male with short black hair, weighing 160 pounds who is about 5 feet, 11 inches tall.
The incident is under investigation.
