Track & Field team receives Big Ten honors

Four members of the MSU track and field team received All-Big Ten honors for their performances this season, the Big Ten announced last Wednesday.

Junior Kyron Foster of the men’s team and sophomore Becca Buchholtz for the women earned spots on the All-Big Ten first-team list, while juniors Charelise Davis and Emily MacLeod, both from the women’s team, made the second team. Foster earned first-team honors during the indoor season as well.

Additionally, the conference handed out Big Ten Sportsmanship Awards. Davis and junior Shane Wells, a sprinter and hurdler for the MSU men’s team, were given the awards.
