Police are looking for a man who robbed an East Lansing convenience store Friday evening with a knife.
East Lansing police Lt. Kevin Daley said a man robbed Buddy’s Mini Market, 504 Michigan Ave., at 6:49 p.m. and held the store clerk at knifepoint. Nobody was injured in the robbery. Daley declined to specify how much money was stolen.
The man is described as in his mid-20s, 5-foot-8 and 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a blue hooded sweatshirt and a winter hat.
East Lansing K-9 units were able to track the man, who fled on foot, for two blocks north of the store. However, the scent was lost. Daley said police believe the suspect got into a car and drove away.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call East Lansing police at (517) 351-4220.
