Grand Ledge woman dies after Breslin Center concert

A 58-year-old Grand Ledge woman was found unconscious Monday night outside Breslin Center and pronounced dead at Lansing’s Sparrow Hospital, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.

Lauranne Marie Cook died of natural causes, McGlothian-Taylor said. She appeared to have fallen outside of Gate D, where she was found by a special events employee at about 7:30 p.m.

McGlothian-Taylor said she did not know how Cook died. Cook had been attending a Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert.

So how did she die? “Lauranne Marie Cook died of natural causes, McGlothian-Taylor said” and “McGlothian-Taylor said she did not know how Cook died.”

Yeah this is confusing. Maybe if she were 70 I would buy this.

This goes to show the Trans-Siberian Orchestra can bore you to death.

Stellar reporting Brittany.

Hahaha. Carrie, you are right. Did she even proofread
this?

They could have been referring to the specifics. As in, died from a specific event (heart attack, for example) but not aware of anything that triggered it. The woman could have fallen or could have been in a fight for all we know.
