Jewish workplace focus of lecture
By Zane McMillin (Last updated: 11/19/09 10:10pm)A presentation by MSU associate professor of history Kirsten Fermaglich titled “Becoming Someone Else: Jewish Name-changing, Employment and Class Mobility in Mid-Twentieth Century New York City,” will be held at 12:15 p.m. today at the MSU Museum auditorium.
As part of the “Our Daily Work/Our Daily Lives” project, the lecture will center around workers’ cultural and artistic influences on workplace environments.
The event is free to the public.
