Cross Country teams finish Big Ten season
By Chris Vannini (Last updated: 11/01/09 7:32pm)The MSU cross country teams finished the Big Ten championships Sunday at Penn State, as the women’s team finished fifth and the men finished in eighth.
Junior Emily MacLeod finished sixth overall for the women with a time of 20:41 and earned First-Team All-Big Ten honors.
Sophomore Josh McAlary led the Spartan men and finished 22nd overall with a time of 25:59.5.
The Spartans will travel to Bloomington, Ind., Nov. 14 to compete in the NCAA Great Lakes Regional.
