Lansing zoo to host wine-tasting event
By Kate Jacobson (Last updated: 09/27/09 8:00pm)The Potter Park Zoo, 1301 S. Pennsylvania Ave., in Lansing, will host its first Wine and Stein event 6-9 p.m. Oct. 15.
Patrons will taste test a variety of wines and beers while having a private reception at the zoo. Attendees also can purchase raffle tickets for items such as Wharton Center and Lansing Symphony Orchestra events and the opportunity to be “Keeper for a Day” at the zoo.
Tickets are $40 for Potter Park Zoo Society members and $45 for nonmembers. All proceeds will go toward the zoo’s Rhino Yard Expansion Project.
