Stadium expands student section
The student section at Spartan Stadium will expand for the upcoming football season, MSU Athletic Communications announced Monday.
Roughly 2,300 seats will be added to the lower bowl while about 1,000 seats will be added to the upper bowl, associate athletics director Paul Schager said.
“We want to bring all of the student seats together,” he said. “From a management standpoint, we wanted clearly identified sections and we wanted to know where people are supposed to be.”
Last season, student ticket sales were the highest they’ve been in 20 years. The athletics department expects those numbers will continue to grow.
The wristband program implemented last season will remain in tact, Schager said.
The price for student tickets is $146 and includes an official 2008 “WE ARE ONE” football T-shirt.
Tickets can be ordered online at Msuspartans.com or by phone at (517)355-1610.

Dantonio Era....

This is a great time to buy seats. The Dantonio era has officially begun and this will be the decade that MSU wins 10 straight against the Bear-Skunks in the Deuce…. I’m so sick of the chatter that ND is so much improved and Dick Rod is going to spread his offense and all that. Time for the Spartans to put it all together this YEAR!

I’d settle for just getting the first win over them. That would be a HUGE step and its certainly no guarantee.
