Lansing lineman commits to Spartans

The MSU football team picked up its ninth recruit for the class of 2009 on Monday, when offensive lineman Micajah Reynolds verbally committed to MSU, according to the Web site Rivals.com.

Reynolds, who attends Lansing’s J.W. Sexton High School, was rated a three-star prospect by the Web site.

The 6-foot-5, 317-pound lineman, also received offers from Indiana and Bowling Green.

Reynolds is the second offensive lineman to verbally commit to MSU. East Lansing High School’s Blake Treadwell, son of MSU offensive coordinator Don Treadwell, committed March 16.

You guys are all idiots. If you’re not going to comment on this article, put your BS posts on a message board somewhere. This is for this article only. On that point – hope State keeps bringing in the recruits. If he’s a 3 star, how come only Indiana and BG have offered him scholarships?

Jason B, you answered your own question. Only Indiana and BG because he is ONLY 3 star. I’m sure smaller schools were interested but bigger schools are going after bigger fish
