MSU alumna ties for second in LPGA tournament
Former Spartan Allison Fouch finished in a tie for second place in last weekend’s LPGA Michelob ULTRA Open in Williamsburg, Va.
Fouch shot 12-under-par for the tournament, including seven-under par in the final round. She and three other golfers finished seven strokes behind LPGA Tour veteran Annika Sorenstam.
Her final round score, 64, was tied for the second lowest round of the entire weekend.
The 2004 MSU graduate was an All-American her senior season at MSU. She was also selected to the All-Big Ten team three times .
Fouch will compete next at the Sybase Classic on May 15-18 in Clifton, N.J.
