Freshman Jantine Steinmetz has been named Big Ten Co-Offensive Player of the Week for her efforts in both weekend match-ups against Lindenwood and Saint Louis. This marks the second consecutive week that a member of the MSU field hockey team has earned this award.

Steinmetz tallied nine shots, four goals and an assist over the weekend in the team’s two victories – helping to extend MSU’s record to an undefeated 6-0.

The No. 7 Spartans continue their travels to Connecticut on Friday to face No. 3 UConn in a battle of the unbeatens.
